Article of the Day: Ford Recall

Ford is recalling 312,814 Crown Victoria's and Mercury Grand Marquis sedans from the 2003-2005 model years, with the majority located in the US. These units were built at the St. Thomas Assembly Plant between Oct. 3, 2001, and Aug. 2, 2005. Ford says that the lighting control module could crack, leaving the headlamps deprived of power and suddenly turned off. There have so far been 11 accidents, that Ford is aware of, from this problem, resulting in one minor injury. Ford is instructing dealers to replace the entire lighting control module.
